![]() This example is fitted with the correct Artillery tangent rear sight graduated to 1-8, (100-800 meters) and both the front and rear sights have the fine-tune adjustments found on the early Artillery Lugers. The Erfurt "Crown/RC" proof on the rear toggle with most parts marked with a single "Crown/Gothic" letter proof mark and or "Crown/Erfurt RC" proofmark. The Imperial Eagle firing proof and Crown/Script letter proof is also repeated on the right and left breech end of the barrel respectively. The barrel extension has the Imperial Army "Crown/Gothic" letter proofs and Imperial Eagle firing proof. The chamber area is dated 1914 and the front toggle is stamped with the "Crown/ERFURT" markings. These early Erfurt Artillery rigs are getting more and more difficult to find all the time as they saw hard use and most were altered under the Versailles Treaty. This is an excellent example of a very early Production 1914 Dated Crown Erfurt Artillery Luger, rig that has the original and matching walnut board shoulder stock, 1914 dated brown leather holster, shoulder straps and leather straps.
